Dive Balicasag Island Bohol

This resort is situated quaternary kilometers southwest of Duljo Saucer off Panglao Reef. Enclosed by a sandy cover coraline beach, the island is fringed by a tapered reef ridge 9 to 49.5 meters stretching. The tops of the sub cliffs are splashy with corneous coral piece lessen levels are besmeared with sponges and gorgonians. A thriving fish territory is launch around the drop play area. Jacks, barracudas and mackerels also abound.

The Balicasag Island Dive Resort is a government owned special interest resort. In this resort complex, the Philippine Tourism Authority, together with the Philippine Navy, promotes under-water sports and protects a marine life sanctuary showcasing a model for marine environmental conservation, ecological preservation, and tourism at the same time.

Balicasag Island Dive Resort, the island’s only scuba facility, is on the south side With only 20 traditional-style bungalows lining the beach. It has a restaurant, a dive shop, and recreational amenities. This island has also some of the world’s best dive spots, such as:

How to Get There:
From Manila or Cebu, take a flight to Tagbilaran Airport which is the closest airport in Bohol.
Take a land trip from Tagbilaran to Panglao Island and then from Panglao Island to Balicasag Island, take a boat which approximately takes about 45 minutes.
